Systems Upgrade

Our first priority and daily goal is to provide the best possible services to all our drivers and subscribers. Within this framework, we implemented, during the past months, a significant investment regarding our tolling system. This upgrade is connected also to the Kentriki Pass electronic toll payment service.

As you already know, the categorization of your vehicles is based on the height and the axles:

Vehicles with height smaller than 2.20m and 2 or mores axles- known as light vehicles or cars- belong to cat.2

Vehicles with height above 2.20m. and up to 3 axles belong to cat. 3

Vehicles with height above 2.20m. and more than 3 axles belong to cat.4

From now on, only for cases of a vehicle with a trailer:

  • Vehicles of cat.2 (regular cars):

If the trailer’s height is above 2.20m. and has one axle, the vehicle belongs to cat. 3

If the trailer’s height is above 2.20m. and has more than 1 axle, the vehicle belongs to cat. 4

In case of variable height, for example if you travel with a load on the grill of your car and ONLY if the total height of cargo and car exceeds 2.20m. (e.g. in case your cargo is a bicycle), we advise you to choose to the lanes with a toll collector for your passage.

  • For cat.3 vehicles with 2 axles:
  • If the trailer has one axle, the vehicle remain in cat.3
  • If the trailer has more than 1 axle, the vehicle belongs to cat.4

  • Cat.3 vehicles with 3 axles belong to cat.4 regardless of trailer’s number of axles.
